Here everything has remained untouched, like in the past when people used to go to the farmer to get fresh vegetables and freshly picked fruit, to the trusted butcher who kept the most tender meat aside for you, to the charcuterie that sold quality cold cuts seasoned in the cellar or to the master cheesemaker where you could choose your cheese. Shopping was not something that you just had to do but a lasting relationship of trust with the producers and a guarantee of quality. And it is still the same: we have a network of suppliers that every day provide us with fresh products and that we continue to enlarge through constant and scrupulous research.

Locally-sourced productsOnly tradition and quality

We prefer using the products of Antica Latteria Bellagio, the Charcuterie of Marco D’Oggiono, the Carozzi dairy farm in Valsassina, fruit and vegetables from Cascina Don Guanella, local wines from Valtellina such as the Domasino Bianco – a historic grape variety – perch and whitefish from our lake and only genuine local meats.

On holiday, it’s nice to enjoy the luxury of a food and wine experience with flexible times, without forgetting that culinary in Italy, has always followed precise times. Let us spoil you with our 10 hours of  taste, while at the same time taking the opportunity to fully experience the traditions of Italy – the “Bel Paese”! We serve a “narrated breakfast” from 8 am to 10 am, while the restaurant is open in winter from 12 noon to 14.30 pm and from 19 pm to 21.30 pm with an à la carte menu, full or reduced, always with different dishes cooked to order.

Start your day slowly, relaxing while you savour our Narrated Breakfast, from 8 am to 10 am. An exclusive micro-buffet at your table, just for you, with everything you need to enjoy a little something while the waiter tells what the daily menu has to offer, to enrich your breakfast.
If you feel like something tasty between 10 am and 12 noon, our Chef’s sweet and savoury snacks are a must.
Then it’s time for lunch: from 12 noon until 2.30 pm with a choice of platters, salads and a hot dish. At dinner we look forward to seeing you between 7 pm and 9.30 pm, also with a full à la carte menu.
From 5.30 pm allow our wine expert to guide you through tastings of the best Italian wines, accompanied by tasty platters and the Chef’s aperitifs.

Taking part in one of Chef Alessandro Redolfi’s Cooking Classes is much more than cooking!

Get ready to live an experience that unites all 5 senses: learn the right procedures, observe the techniques used every day by the Chef and listen to the story of the dishes you are cooking; let yourself be inebriated by the aromas and flavours: homemade pasta, gnocchi and a dessert. In fact, the Cooking Class is always followed by the tasting of the cooked dishes, accompanied by wine and the Chef’s special goodies!

External guestsDining in a historic location

Ours is a small restaurant with a limited number of tables but we also accept external guests on reservation, who want to have here their special lunches and dinners. We can also organise exclusive events and reserve the entire location for you, also providing all the catering.
